Dance to the Heart Song of Thanksgiving
Author: admin
In Psalms 69:30, we read these words of David: I will praise the name of God with a song, and will magnify him with thanksgiving. It is said that King David led parades and danced in the streets much to the dismay, and often the condemnation, of those within the palace who served him. But, despite the smug judgment of others, David would not hide his gratitude or allow it to exist unexpressed.
Frequently, we forget to appreciate our life, as it is, when we’re focused on obtaining more stuff. Maybe we don’t live in a palace, and maybe we haven’t gotten all that we would like to experience in this world quite yet, but surely there is plenty in our life for which we can be grateful. I knew a young man once, named Miguel, who didn’t seem to have many worldly things. He rented a tiny room built on the side of my neighbor’s garage. He worked as a janitor at night and did odd jobs around the neighborhood during the day. My neighbor told me that he sent most of his scant wages to his family who lived somewhere in Mexico. Yet, I’d never seen a happier person. He walked with joy in his step, he genuinely whistled while he worked, and there was always light in his large, brown eyes. Curious as to how he could sustain so much joy, I asked him his secret. He answered simply, “Any day above ground is a good day.”
Let’s face it, earth life is a limited offer. Life on the planet is finite. But, we’re here now! No matter how his life might have seemed to others, for Miguel, being alive was a cause for celebration. Our life is a miracle that we have not made or earned. As the saying goes, “Life is a gift, that’s why it’s called the present.” However, have we said, “thank you” for the gift and does our life express our gratitude? Or, instead, are we holding back for for more…and more “things” before we sing our song of thanksgiving?
If we had all the worldly goods that money could buy, but we couldn’t feel appreciation for them, what good would our possessions be to us? And, likewise, if we were able to feel joy in being alive, whether we possessed anything at all, then our “neediness” would disappear.
Prosperity and abundant good but be just around the corner, but we hold the gift of “the present” in our hands right now. Today, let’s dance with the Spirit to a song of praise.

A lot of different things and situations result to the need for best encouragement quotes. What I am trying to say is that often times we are confronted with certain situations that calls for more than just experience and enthusiasm to overcome. If you have a brother who needs some some bible verse for encouragement when someone is in coma or someone who is hurting then why don’t you read below to find out more about this very sensitive matter.
Someone dealing with the death of a loved one
Losing someone you love is not easy and if you know someone who needs some encouragement words then do take the time to share something positive. They need to be around positive people and to hear positive words. Be weary of overdoing it. It is important to say the right things all the time or else you will exacerbate the situation.
Grieving people go through various phases of grief and you need to be sensitive to understand the grieving process and what words to say at each stage.
First time at work
Starting a new job may be great yes but it does have its fair share of frustration and stress. If you have a friend who has just started in a new job then you better think of a way to make him or her comfortable and at ease. If the friend enjoys a good laugh, just write him or her some words of encouragement poems if you can about the first day at work.
Someone in a new country
Being in a new country can be so nerve wrecking especially if you can not understand the local language. If comes with the feeling of anxiety and being home sick. I know someone who fell into a serious depression a few days after arriving in a new country – to stay for 12 months. It took two months for the person to recover and start accepting her new environment.
Other people who need to be encouraged from time to time include, married couples, someone who is sick and probably in hospital and people locked up in prison. As you enjoy the wonderful things in your life always remember that there is a person who needs to hear you say, things will workout just fine.
Going Deeper Into Spiritual Stories
Author: Author
When any of us listen to or read parables the lessons they contain are quite complex on many levels and these spiritual stories often cause us to reconsider the meaning of what we have heard long after the tale has been completed. Every time we revisit a story, we gain new insight and begin to understand the whole meaning of the story a little bit at a time.
A spiritual parable is rather like the 3D pictures that were popular many years ago. You may remember the elaborate pages of art that had hidden pictures within them. Some people couldn’t even see the hidden images within the pictures when they were prompted. This is because they couldn’t see the hidden wisdom buried underneath the pretty pictures. It is much the same with spiritual stories. When people hear a story, at first they may not always understand the wisdom contained within it.
The benefits to these spiritual parables are in the challenge to our thinking and also the growth that they bring to an individual’s spiritual and emotional being. There is no right or wrong message. The experience is a completely unique and personal one. This may very well be the best gift that sharing spiritual stories can bring. There is no need to lecture or preach to have people gain wisdom and some understanding. These stories concisely point out lessons and obligations that all can gain from in some way.
Spiritual stories that have spiritual knowledge and lessons to share offer benefit to all who hear them and read them and this knowledge does not leave us. Although the specific words in a story may fade to the back of our memory over time, we still remember the lessons we learned. Therefore, whenever needed we can still draw upon it.
Intuition, imagination, and instinct. These are 3 words, three concepts that people often find difficult to distinguish between. It is time to clear up that confusion. In this article, I will help you to clarify the differences between the three once and for all, starting with understanding instinct.
Your instincts are your inherent genetic survival drives. Every creature, large or small, that has a nervous system has instincts, as they are a basic survival tool for any living creature. They do not require any intelligence, nor do they involve any kind of inspired guidance from your Higher Self. Instincts are part of the basic drives wired into your physiology by nature.
Imagination, on the other hand, is something much more sublime and interesting. It is a powerful creative force driven by your thoughts, desires, and intentions (conscious or not). Your imagination has the ability to craft visions of value in the manifestation of your reality. While driven by your mind, the imaginative process uses many of the same inner senses as your intuition does to evoke into being new situations, possibilities, even entire new worlds. Your imagination is directed by your will, and is a powerful tool in the conscious creation process.
Using your imagination as a gateway or portal, you can experience inspiration and bring forth creativity. In other words, imagination and inspiration can serve as both the pathway to, and facilitators of, your intuition. When you visualize a place within your mind, your imagination creates an ideal internal space from which you can access and interact with your intuitive self, receiving insights and information from your subconscious mind and from your Higher Self.
As you can see, your imagination is a valuable tool and passageway as you travel the path of intuitive development. The imaginary environments and situations you evoke in your mind can form a potent backdrop and foundation for your intuitive practices. To take just one example, when you practice guided visualization, your imagination sets the scene and summons from the void an appropriate environment in which you can open yourself higher, more intuitive states of mind that are only accessible through your inner intuitive senses.
Working with your imagination to access your ‘inner realm’ is explored in detail in the Intuition Zone program. If you are prepared to begin this exploration, take the first step and visit http://IntuitionZone.info
